I am a few days late posting this because Tilly and I were sick most of the week. It started after we got home from the children's museum. A yukky stomach bug that was not fun at all. It was T's first time being really sick and it just broke my heart. So we spent a lot of time in our pajamas reading books and watching dora. I had to go back and get a few pictures from summer to share because I couldn't get it together this week. We feel much better today and have a few crafty things planned!

It's been hard to keep up posting everyday. Last week was a particularly busy and had me playing with the kidos all day with very little time for anything else. I often find myself falling asleep right after I put T to bed. I have more free time this week and I am looking forward to doing a few crafty things. Hopefully I can get on a schedule with things including this blog- that would be fun!

Ever since receiving her train set for christmas, T has really loved choo choo trains. She was super excited to get to see this one today, so I guess I am glad the children's museum was closed which forced us to walk around the area for a while.

Last night we picked Richard up at OHSU. We have great memories at the hospital- Tilly was born there, we used to live down the street, and Richard goes to school there (T frequently calls it dada home). I snapped this with my phone and love T's smile.

Sleepy is the word that sums up our day. After waking up at 4am and a short nap we tried our hand at a tea party. Tilly enjoyed her pears and sitting with her bears while I snapped away. After a while I decided I had to choose from what I had because I was to sleepy to figure out the lighting situation. I do love these big eyes!

We took a new path in Forest Park today and found patches of ice to practice ice skating on. Tilly loves smiling for the camera these days!

The majority of my time is spent in the playroom- today we were busy fishing for letters in the fish puzzel.

A New Year

This year I am determined to do something with this blog, and to learn more about my camera. I am hoping to do something like a 365 photo challenge of my own. Taking meaningful pictures from my day and posting them un-edited here. So here is take one- a photo from our bike ride through forest park today. It was so cold and the waterfalls along the trail had frozen forming beautiful icicles.
